Karneval

The boys recently took part in the Kindergarten Karneval (or Fasching as it is also called) party.  I had always assumed the Karneval season started after Christmas, however after doing my research I found out that it starts on the 11th November at 11.11am. It's at this time that the "council of eleven" meet to plan the festivities to come.

For the boys this meant an incredibly exciting day at the kindergarten in February, where they dressed up (Bob L as a Dragon and Bob D as the Gruffalo) and danced all morning. The starfish and dolphin rooms joined together for the festivities and ate loads of party food (each parent provided a platter). 

Bob D had a great time, unfortunately Bob L got sent home early with a temperature - which turned out to be tonsillitis. There is always next year!
