It was truly magical to go in the evening, drink Gluwein and enjoy the tasty food on offer. It was lovely to experience the markets child free; when visiting with the boys it is tricky to persuade them to walk away from the fairground ride!
At the markets we came across a new hot beverage; Met. Met is a hot, sweet honey wine, perfect for a cold winter night. We debated over whether to buy a bottle; however, we agreed that it is best enjoyed in a Christmas market setting.
It was a lovely evening, we should do date night more regularly.
