They dressed up as pirates, attended a Halloween party in the afternoon, then went trick or treating in the evening. By the end of the day they were exhausted.
Although a little unsure about what they were doing, they soon got into the swing of things. So much so they were still asking for 'treats' when they went to bed.
I have to say I was not expecting to feel so overwhelmed to witness them do something that I cherished so much from my childhood.
