In a previous post, I wrote about the fabulous outdoor pools in Germany.
Well as the winter months come in, we have been visiting the indoor pools that Germany have to offer.
What can I say? Amazing!
The first one we went to was the Ishara in Bielefeld; it is like an adventure playground in water. There are ten pools, each of which has a different temperature. In the centre, there is a pirate ship with slides and water Lego. In another, there are river rapids and a wave machine. As we have young children, it is very cheap for us as the boys get in for free.
H2O in Herford is just as good (if not better, which is a bit of a debate in our house). It has six pools, river rapids and slides (more slides for bigger children, i.e. my husband). It definitely is better for their outdoor area though - I can imagine coming back here in the summer.
We all love it and can't think of a better way to spend a rainy day!
