We had a lovely brunch, then wandered around the town. No shops were open and it was pretty quiet (as Sundays always are in Germany) but I have to say that it was nicer that way. We could wander and look at the amazing architecture, enjoying looking around the town stress free. Also had plenty of room for the boys to be out of the buggy and toddling around.
We came across a museum which was pretty fab. It had a little theatre production of the Pied Piper, this was all done by robot type machines (sounds a bit strange but it was fab). The boys sat and watched the whole thing without making a sound (this was for a whole 12 minutes, those with 16 month old children will appreciate what this means).
Overall fab day out with clear blue skies and a bit of history/fables thrown in.
I think this might be a place we take visitors in the future.
