What's the point?

So I have been thinking about starting a blog for a while, now that I have done it I have been thinking, why am I doing this?

I don't expect lots of people to read it (although I know my mum and dad will), so what do I want out of it?

The way I see it this can be a record of my time in Germany and also a record of the fun adventure I will have with my young family. I hope in years to come my boys will read this and enjoy it (hello if you are!), possibly be embarrassed by some of the stories I publish (sorry!) but mostly it will record a time in their life that they probably won't remember much off as they are so young (14 months at the moment).

Also at the heart of it, it is fun for me to do - some may argue even therapeutic!

So here it all starts, I now just need to find stuff to write about
